Ready for some teen spirit

Here are the Halloween costumes I made for me and Shye for a party last night. As you can see they were extremely authentic. I even began molting before the night was over.

Good news! The photographer/sleeping partner comes back tonight. Yay! No more exploding head! No more crappy, self-timer pictures!

Raise your hand if you, like me, are sick of the eighties. I don't think I had even recovered from them the first time around before they reappeared again. Besides, we've been reliving this atrociousness for at least five years now. Let's move on to the 90's shall we? I'm starting to see a little bit of a grunge comeback. I love it! I've got my flannel and now I just need to go dig out my Doc Martins and I'll be all set.

    I loved my 8 hole greasy black Doc's. I actually wore out two pairs of them as well as a few oxfords, and a pair of 10 hole steel toed boots. I'm quite alright with them coming back.

    looove the owl costume! I totally saw that idea on pinterest and I think you and your little girl pull it off great. Super adorable! :)
