Pinspiration

There was a time, not long ago, that I thought between facebook and the blogosphere that I couldn't possibly waste anymore time on the internet.

And then I discovered Pinterest. And I've been happily addicted ever since. It has become my main source of outfit inspiration. It is especially useful now that I'm shopping my closet and I use it to try to find outfit ideas for pieces I already have. Here is an outfit that I stumbled upon recently when looking for ideas for what to wear with a mustard cardigan.

And here is my interpretation of that outfit, minus the feathers and add a baby.

(while babies are an absolutely adorable accessory to add to any outfit, I must warn you, they are expensive)

A few months ago I saw this dress at the thrift store except it was about 10 inches longer and smelled like smoke. Lovely really. But I knew it had potential. And like anything that just has potential, all it needed was a good wash and a trim. :)
