Free as a bird

You know, being a mom changes how you dress. Suddenly your wardrobe becomes collateral damage in the baby's warpath. Sometimes it feels like they are on a mission to destroy everything cute thing you own. I completely understand now why so many moms adopt a uniform of yoga pants and tees. They are just trying spare their wardrobe.

Cheyenne is no different from other kids. She poops, pees, barfs, and drools all over me. And sometimes she does it with a vengeance.  For example, whenever I wore a certain pair of jeans she would poop on me. Since she was always wearing a diaper, this meant that she would have a massive blowout. She was totally doing it on purpose. Maybe she was trying to tell me something. Now she seems to be expressing similar distaste for scarves because every time I wear one she tries to choke me. And she laughs the whole time doing it. This is one extremely opinionated kid.

Happy Monday everyone!

  2. Your outfit is cute. And if Shye tries to choke you with your own scarves, I hate to see what she would do to your wardrobe if she ever got her hands on a pair of scissors!

  3. I wear yoga pants and shirts daily unless I go out. I feel like I can't really wear regular clothes or jewelry until the 16 month mark then I can dress normal and then I find myself pregnant again.:)
