Jackson Pollack and fashion

I've decided that fashion blogging is like a Jackson Pollack painting. Whenever you look at those paint splatters that people like to call art you think to yourself,  "Pu-leez! That's supposed to be art? I could totally do that." But chances are that when you go home you probably don't attempt anything of your own.

I've been following several fashion blogs for about a year now. And I am definitely guilty of frequently thinking, "Outfit? You call that an outfit? It looks more like your closet threw up on you." Clearly I'm being dealt a cosmic dose of karmic justice here. Writing about what you wear is harder than it looks. Taking pictures of what you wear is also harder than it looks. Yesterday, the picture I posted didn't even show all of my boots. Gah! It's a work in progress here folks.

Oh and the boots are from Charlotte Russe.

Let me tell you about those jeans. They were so expensive! And so not worth it! I bought them 5 years ago, back when I was a leeetle bit obsessed with designer stuff. They have been sitting in my closet for the better part of the last five years. But now they are the only jeans that I can tuck into my boots so maybe I'll get a bit more use out of them.

I'm off to figure out my Halloween costume, I'm determined to make my boots a part of the costume. Ideas?

  2. Or you could be pirate. Totally cute outfit. I always struggle with tucking my pants into my boots. I guess that is where skinny jeans come in handy. To bad I refuse to buy some.
