For some reason when I woke up today I thought to myself, "I really want to go apple picking". Maybe it's because my sister-in-law sent me two of the juiciest, freshest, sweetest Honeycrisp apples the other day. Or maybe it's
Karen's fault, she keeps talking about going. If you've ever been apple picking (or any other kind of fruit picking) then you would know that fresh apples put those measly, mealy, mushy store-bought apples to shame. In fact, I read the other day that
the average store-bought apple is usually 14 months old. Barf!
Anyway, here is my apple picking outfit...even though in reality, I've spent most of the day doing laundry. :)

So about the outfit. The boot socks are the new item here. They were a lot cuter in theory (and on Pinterest). I suppose they are useful for keeping my knees warm in the frigid 70 degree weather here in SoCal. Or if I ever have a fat knee day...though I probably should have gotten them in black for that.
Oh well, you live and learn right?
Why u wearing a scarf? It's not cold enough where u live for one lol, it's cold here but mine aint out yet xxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteIt is a very light scarf. People in SoCal wear scarves all the time with just a t-shirt. Here it is considered more of an accessory than a necessity like it is there in Scotland.
ReplyDeleteFourteen months?? That's gross!
ReplyDeleteBut you know what isn't gross? That outfit. It's super cute!
