Remember that post about me being a hoarder?
Yeah, well today I dug out a sweater that I've had since college.
And by the way, I graduated in the ASU class of 2004, so this sweater is a bit old.
But I love it.
It is this gorgeous shade of blue that is perfect for a rainy day like today. Last year when I pulled it out I noticed a little pin hole near the shoulder, but it wasn't anything that couldn't be covered with my long hair. Today as I put it on I noticed to two more little holes on one of the sleeves. I still figured I could get one more use out of it. But as I was getting ready the sweater literally started to fall apart before my eyes. Another hole popped up on the back of the sweater. The seam on one of the sleeves came apart. But nail in the coffin was the growing hole in the chestage area.
Basically this sweater was a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.
Not exactly appropriate for church...especially since I work in the Primary.

Thankfully Daylight Saving ended today so I had a little extra time to put together another outfit.
And to dry my tears over my old blue sweater.
So long old blue sweater! You will be missed!
At least, that is, until I find your replacement. :)
Too bad. It was a nice sweater. My condolences.

I love that creme skirt! You look so thin, I am jealous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Luhi.
ReplyDeleteJamie, I'm not sure why you would be jealous since I'm about 20 lbs heavier than you. And I was loving your outfit today in church! :)
Ya, I was loving both of your outfits at church! You both were looking so skinny and fashionable.
ReplyDeleteThose are both great sweaters. I'm sorry for the loss of your blue sweater. It really is a great color.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I too fell in love with your skirt.... so Where'd ya get it?? Lol!
