Sugar Hangover

I love November. First of all, it's officially the end of diet season. You know, I have always thought that Halloween was just a warm-up for the rest of the holiday season. All those candy binges just get you primed for the Thanksgiving and Christmas pig-outs to come. Now the real eating can begin. Secondly, I love November because you can wear real sweaters and not feel stupid about it. Even in Orange County no one bats an eye at a sweater wearer, because 70 degrees is considered bona fide sweater weather here.

As for today's outfit, the sweater is new. I recently went looking for a new wintery looking sweater and this one made me think of Norway, which is about as wintery as it gets right?  I feel like I should be wearing snow shoes with my outfit not boots. As a whole though, I'm not loving today's look. The grey leggings continue to stump me. Maybe it's just the sugar hangover, but it seems like no matter what I pair them with they always look like closet vomit. But sugar hangover be darned, I was in a hurry this morning and just threw something together because Shye's best friend was coming over to play this morning. Neither of the babies seemed to mind my closet vomit outfit.

    I don't think the grey leggings are closet vomit!!! I totally love them! I wish I had some leggings that were that cute (or really, any leggings at all!) I think your outfit is super cute.

    And my uncle always used to say the cure for a hangover was a beer, so this morning when I was feeling the sugar hangover, I naturally just had more sugar. Problem solved.

    I think the grey leggings look fine. Especially with that sweater. Very cute! It's so fun that Shye has a bff to hang out with:)
