Fall Festivites

Last week we went to Stonycreek Farm in Noblesville for their Fall Festival. I swear it was something straight out of Gilmore Girls. The nieces went on little carnival rides, climbed the gigantic haystack, and went through the corn maze. And Shye, well, she did what she does best: tried to run away. The entire time.

Then we went for a hayride and a frolic through the pumpkin patch.
And my, oh my, there never was a prettier pumpkin patch. The farm has their pumpkin planted in the middle of a Christmas tree field (which is later used in December for the farm's Christmas festival).
Shye was rather smitten by all the pumpkins and set out to hug as many as she could. I hope those pumpkins know how darn lucky they are, hugs from that girl are scarce.

I mean really, is there anything better than frolicking through a pumpkin patch?
