Scenes from a Birthday Weekend

I've decided that my birthdays will always be on Fridays from now on. My birthday ended up being more of a birthday weekend. It was fabulous.

On Friday, I woke up to this. 

 

 That cake was divine. It had chocolate pudding and chocolate chunks in it. 

And Brian got up at 3am to make it before he went to work. 

If that's not love, I don't know what is.

 I hung out with these girls. 

 

 We went thrift store shopping, ate junk food, and took lots of fun pictures.

I got new lipstick. Hello Fuschia Fusion.

 I had birthday cake.

Opened presents.

Got really excited about some of them. 

I'm sure I will re-watch both seasons of Downton Abbey several times before the 3rd season airs in January.

 The coolest present EVER!

I loved the Baby-Sitters Club when I was a kid.

On Saturday I went to my last book club. :(

They did all my favorite foods: 

Crunchwrap Supremes, pesto, cupcakes, strawberries with Nutella, and graham crackers with frosting.

I'm going to miss these girls!

And they are going to need a new blonde friend. ;)

I think every weekend should be my birthday weekend.
