Ode to Winter

I try really hard not to be one of those people who blame everything on their childhood, but I'm pretty sure all my issues stem from growing up in the season-deprived state of Arizona. Take for instance, my abhorrence of hugs, where do you think that came from huh? Maybe from the fact that when it is 283 degrees (Celsius, can someone please figure out what that is in Fahrenheit), the last thing you want to be doing is sharing body heat with someone else. And why do you think I'm such a clothes horse? Maybe it's because growing up we hardly wore clothes at all. Not because we were too poor, but because we were trying to avoid heatstroke.  Not to worry though, my counselor seems to think there is a good chance that someday (with the proper amounts of meds) I will overcome these and the many other issues I have.

Since here in Southern California we are pretty much already two weeks into Spring, I'm going to make this is my final winter wear post. Hopefully next winter I will be posting from somewhere snowy and cold.
