Puebla dresses. Bohemian-esque embroidery details. Loose, airy dresses galore. Whenever I daydream about summer I always envision myself wearing a green Puebla dress. Someone psychoanalyze that for me please. I'm guessing it represents a deep inner desire to spend my summer lounging poolside while munching on chips and salsa until I want to vomit. (Because really, is there any other way to eat chips and salsa?) And I can't get enough of all these bohemian style embroidered items. Also, I'm especially enamored with the idea of a perfect summery white dress, one that isn't too sheer or skimpy. I've been searching for one since I was like, I dunno, four years old.
Distressed denim. I crossed my heart and hoped to die before I ever wore denim that had holes on purpose. But there is a fine line between love and hate and I've definitely crossed over into the love territory for this trend. It looks so effortlessly chic.
Neon. Another trend that used to make me want to slam my head against a wall. But remember that night that I went on a drug induced online shopping spree? Well, apparently my high self REALLY likes neon because I got 5 neon colored tee shirts in the mail. I was pretty disappointed when I opened that package. But it turns out those bright colors were exactly what I needed. It's hard to be gloomy and depressed while wearing neon pink. Go ahead, try it.
