Cousins!

Brian' younger sister and niece came to visit for these past two weeks. Shye had so much fun with her little cousin. I was initially worried because in my experience toddler play usually includes a fair about of hitting, scratching, and sometimes biting. Shye hasn't done any of these things but then again she's never had another toddler around for long periods of time. But to my relief, they seemed to like each other and actually shared their toys and their germs really well. Shye just loved Capri and kept trying to hug her all the time. The way they seemed to take turns throwing tantrums made me wonder if they worked out a deal in their special toddler language. Shye also instructed Capri on how to beat up Grandma. Before anyone feels too bad for Grandma allow me to point out that Grandma was the one who taught Shye how to hit in the first place, so it's poetic justice really.
