If I could sum up the last month for Shye in one word it would be:
Independence
She started sitting up on her own shortly after turning 6 months.
She is scooting and crawling around.
At the beginning of November she started to get up on her hands and knees and rocking back forth. I bet Brian that she would be crawling by Thanksgiving. Well, she didn't crawl by Thanksgiving but to add insult to injury she decided to start saying dada on Thanksgiving. After two months of only saying mama now she is all about the dadada. Whatevs.

She always wants to hold her own bottle and sippy cup. She gets mad if I try to hold them for her.
Speaking of her sippy cup, she freakin loves that thing. I have a feeling that bottles will soon be a thing of the past.
She weaned herself off the binkie. Seriously, what kind of kid does that?
Now she just plays with it. I'm not too happy about this development.

She's just too cute. I can't believe how much she changes from one month to the next.
