The internet has way of ruining certain things. Like fall for example. There are loads jokes about pumpkin spice everything (
pumpkin pie root beer anyone?),
pumpkin gourds everywhere, taking pictures of leaves at their feet, and just generally making fun of every other
fall related activity. I seriously started to feel genuinely self conscious for liking these things. So much that I debated whether or not to even go to a pumpkin patch this year. But when I really thought about it I decided that I do these things for the sake of creating memories with Shye. I remember how much I loved going to pumpkin patches when I was a kid and now I want to do the same with my daughter. So cliches be darned. Pumpkin patches for the win.
We met up with Brian's mom and niece and went to the Red Barn in Santaquin. This place is so cute, they have a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch, go carts, a crate maze, horses to pet, and two giant slides. The girls had way too much fun. Well worth the 10 bucks to get in.
