Hello everybody! What day is it today? Tuesday? Thursday? I don't even know anymore. The last few weeks have been a blur of boxes and backaches. For some bizarre reason I assumed that it would take me 4-5 days max to unpack but here I am 11 days after the move with a ridiculous number of boxes still left to go through. I obviously underestimated how much crap we have. Most of our stuff has been in storage for the past 20 months so it has been kinda fun finding lost treasure that we had completely forgotten about.

| And finding a box of Shye's newborn clothes made me super emotional. That onsie was her going home from the hospital outfit. Hard to believe she was ever that tiny. |

| Our new church building looks like something out Hansel & Gretel. Going to church in such a pretty building has really strengthened my testimony. ;) |

I'm hoping I can get the rest of our shiz unpacked and organized this week so that I can start going out and exploring. We are within walking distance of downtown and it looks like there are lots of fun things to do there. Playdates anyone?
Oh I would so meet you downtown for a playdate on the days I have off, like this coming Monday. I love downtown. I miss working there sometimes. You are also by one of my favorite parks to run in.

ReplyDeleteI so do not enjoy unpacking, though I think it is slightly better than unpacking. Glad you're enjoying your new place. And your new church would totally strengthen my testimony too.
