Dang, it's been a while. My blogging muscles are feeling weak. I guess that's what happens when you spend the better part of a month being sick (stomach flu, bronchitis, laryngitis, etc.). I actually did write one measly little post on Thanksgiving eve but my sweet husband made me delete it because I made one too many jokes about drugs.* So now I'm playing catch-up here with blogging. Blah.
So, November. Normally here in Utah, November is second month of winter. I always joke that winter here lasts from conference to conference (October to April), and the sad thing is, that really isn't too far from the truth. Last year we got snow in early November and it didn't melt until April. Seriously. But this year Fall did us proud and hung on til mid-November. During those first few weeks of the month I took Shye on a few leaf peeping walks around our neighborhood and at BYU. Shye absolutely loved playing in the leaves. And here are ten billion pictures of those outings. Because obviously you have no idea what fall leaves look like, right?
So to sum up our November, there were lots of pretty leaves followed by a buttload of germs. Got it? Ok. Now, hopefully I'll be back to blogging as usual from now on.
*Just an FYI. I know I like to joke around a lot, especially here on my blog. But I just want to state clearly once and for all, that I'm a good Mormon girl. I never have and never will use alcohol, tobacco, or drugs in any form, except under the direction of my physician. The most hardcore thing I've ever done is a Diet Coke for breakfast.

I'm loving your little note at the bottom. Hahaha. Diet Coke for breakfast IS pretty hard.
ReplyDeleteLol I love your sense of humor. Glad you are feeling better. I live the smile on shyes gave. It seems to be big when she it outside.
ReplyDeleteI love love love Shye's shoes!
ReplyDeleteI love that your husband had to hold you back from making too many drug references. My husband has to do that sort of thing all the time! (Although for me it's usually being too mean to someone on social media. He got over my drug references a long time ago...)
ReplyDeleteI love Shye's comical face when she is throwing leaves! It's like she's on I Love Lucy or something.
