Brian and I celebrated our seven year wedding anniversary on Saturday. It's hard to believe it's been that long. As you can see from these photos, we certainly haven't changed much.
After seven years:
We are itching to get out of debt.
We only have grad school loans (no car payments or credit cards) but they are eating us alive. We are trying to think of creative ways to pay them off quicker. A person only really needs one kidney, right?
We are itching for a new quilt.
Literally. The quilt on our bed is about 10 years old and who knows what is living in it.
We are itching for more babies.
Whaaat? No really.
p.s. see above: creative ideas to pay off student loans. :)
p.s. see above: creative ideas to pay off student loans. :)
p.p.s. I'm not pregnant.
We are itching for some new digs.
But
until we get the loan situation under control we will be living in the
MIL's basement. We should be ready to buy our first home when we are,
oh, about 60ish.
We are itching for a vacation.
Like a real one. You know, the kind that involves hotels, sightseeing, and fanny packs. I'm just dying for a good excuse to wear a fanny pack.
We are itching for new(er) cars.
Both our cars are teenagers (13 and 15) and are starting to give us lots of grief.
We are itching for the new Kate Spade bag.

You guys look amazing in those pics. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteYou guys look awesome! Way to rock the seven years. You should check out Dave Ramsey if you want to learn about getting out of debt and financial matters. His book "The Total Money Makeover" is really great, and his podcast are also fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of the same itches too! One of our cars will be turning twenty next year. Still runs great but looks very ghetto... sigh.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThe new Kate Spade bag is totally a winner.
You look very pretty in these pictures!
