I know, I know, Spring is still a long ways off. Especially for those of us who are living in Little Siberia, oops, I mean, Utah. But a girl can dream right? Of pretty polka dots, feminine details, full skirts, and some slightly warmer temperatures that would make it all possible. Here's what I'm looking forward to most this spring.
(FYI: I've linked to all the sourced that I could find...you know, in case you want to buy anything for me.)
Hair Bows
I can't tell you how many complicated fishtail braids and intricate updos I've pinned vowing to try them the next time I wash my hair. But man alive, the arm muscles that you need to do them! I don't know about you but my arms can only take about two, maybe three minutes of major hair doing. And I'm just straight up lazy. If it looks like it's going to take longer than five minutes I don't even attempt it. So enter the hair bow: the lazy girl's best hair friend.
Bows... in general.
This spring I'm looking for dainty little bow details. And bows are a relatively easy detail to add to any outfit.
Polka dots, duh.
Move over stripes, big fat polka dots are where it's at.
Peter pan collars
Somehow peter pan collars manage to look pretty, feminine, ladylike, and cute all the same time. So they are a must have for this spring.
1. Polka dot peter pan collar 2. Ivory peter pan collar 3. Peter pan collar dress 4. Black lace peter pan collar
Ok Spring. Let's do this.

I want that Peter pan collar dress! So cute! You're not alone. It kills my arms doing my hair. But, I push through it and call it my arm work out for the day:-)
ReplyDeleteHave you tried braiding your hair while laying upside down on a bed/sofa. I used to do that when I was younger and it worked. I basically just decided to build up braid-arm-strength after awhile.
ReplyDeleteI guess quitting in the middle of a braid wouldn't be so bad? You've created a new hairstyle!!
