Today was a good day. It was the day I've been looking forward to since October 9th...the day that I realized that I couldn't zip up my jeans anymore.
I'm back in my pre-pregnancy jeans!!!
Never mind that it has taken the combined powers of breastfeeding, walking miles and miles in my living room trying to calm a colicky baby and one pair of Spanx to make this happen.
Never mind that it took another person to help me get into the said pair of Spanx. At this point we can't really be sure if I will be able to get back out of them. I may have be surgically extracted from them.
Never mind that I can't actually breath once I get the jeans on. Or sit. Or even really move at all.
Never mind that these were actually what I considered to be my "fat" jeans in my pre-pregnancy days. You know, the one pair of jeans you keep in the back of your closet for Thanksgiving or any other really bloated days.
All that matters is that I'm technically back in my pre-pregnancy jeans!
Congratulations! You were looking pretty small last night.
ReplyDeleteLol, I did the same thing, but I DID get back in a size five and a few of my fours comfortably when my baby was 10 to 11 months. I got rid of most of those clothes too because I thought I would never get in them ever again, but I did! Now let's see if I can do it again... haha. Use 1 drop of lemon essential oil and 1 drop grapefruit to every 8 oz of water, that was the only thing that worked for me. I am sure you look great anyway!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Shawna! You look great!
ReplyDeleteSo I don't have your email address! How is that possible. I just say you are friends with Kristen Price. How do you know her? We went to high school together. Small world. So I was wondering where the red train is in your picture? Oh and congrats on the jeans.
ReplyDeleteKristen and I worked together at Ann Taylor back in UT. I think the train was in Seal Beach. Look up Sarah Hull photography, she was the one took our pictures.
