Ok, let's talk about our problems today.
My problem is that I don't like to be touched. This is especially true now that I'm a cranky pregnant lady. Yes, I know this probably means I have some underlying psychological issues but we will save that for another post.
Your problem is that, for whatever reason, you want to touch/rub/pat my ever expanding belly.
My problem is that I don't like feeling bad when I tell you "no, you may not touch my belly" even if you did ask nicely.
Your problem is that you feel rejected after asking nicely and apparently, (or so I'm told) deprived of the luck that comes with rubbing a baby bump.
The solution?
$5 belly rubs.
Yep people, you may now touch the belly for $5. I will take cash, gift cards, Visa and MasterCard. Sorry, no checks accepted...unless it is a blank one.
I loved it when people touched my belly. I seriously did - I had no problem with it, but I definitely see your point. I DID NOT like my belly being touched my the Hispanic guy at the recycling place!!! So gross. So I guess it really depends... :) And I promise not to touch your belly. I've been pregnant enough to know what it feels like!
ReplyDeleteWith the twins I didn't have people touching my belly as much as I would whack people with my giant belly trying to walk around them.
ReplyDeleteAnd that was Erin, I am too lazy to log in
ReplyDeleteI totally should've done this when I was pregnant!
