Little Tidbits

Life has been dealing me a series of gut punches lately. Nothing serious. Nothing really even out of the ordinary. But I'm having a hard time with it all anyway. I'm being intentionally (and annoyingly) vague because I've recently discovered that people can be very judgmental when it comes to personal trials. I posted a facebook status the other day about having a bad day as a parent and it somehow turned into a comment fight over who had it harder: parents or teachers. Which wasn't my intention at all.
The moral of the story is that everyone thinks that everyone else has it easier. Including myself. :)

Here are few tidbits of our life lately. 

 I took Shye on an extremely unsuccessful outing to the outlets and Cabela's to see the fish. 

She mostly cried and wanted me to hold her. 

 McDonald's is always a hit with this girl. Unfortunately. 

And we've been going on lots of walks.

 Shye's favorite thing these days is a cup of crushed ice. Dang molars.

She also likes to pick on her little cousin Kimberly.

And have dance parties with her reflection.

All of Shye's hopes and dreams came true when one of the cats sat on her lap voluntarily. The cat is obviously crazy

 I'm fairly certain that I'm single handedly keeping my local pharmacy in business.
