Last Days of Summer

Nothing says "So long Summer!...no really, get the crap out of here" like a late summer barbeque. Last week Brian's sister bought some extremely questionable meat in bulk because it was on sale and so naturally she invited us over to help finish it off. Because what are families for if not to eat all your shady meat stockpile? Turns out shady meat is actually pretty delicious and none of us died from food poisioning or mad cow disease. So win-win, I guess.

Shye had so much fun with her cousins. She wants to so bad to be one of the big kids and do all the things that they do. I keep telling her to just stop it already with all this growing-up nonsense but she doesn't listen.
