I usually never wear this much girly-girl stuff together. It feels a little too forced to me. Like I'm saying, "Here, let me knock you over the head with my femininity." But I was so inspired by the Ruche Spring LookBook that I decided to give the ultra-girly look a chance.

Shye totally copied me and went all frilly too.
Things have been a little desperate around these parts. We haven't been grocery shopping in a while and last night Brian and I both had a major case of the munchies. We stared into bare cupboards, closed them, and then opened them again hoping that something tasty would magically appear. It was only 9:30 at night, one of us could have made a junk run but instead we just wandered around our kitchen like a pair of zombies debating over how much sugar would be needed to make Grape-Nuts taste like a junk cereal. Finally, I happened to spot a half a tub of frosting in the back of the fridge (left over from that frosting bender I went on a few weeks ago, but we aren't going to talk about that anymore...ok?) and I excitedly showed it to Brian.
Brian, "Oh great! But we don't have cake, or graham crackers, or anything. What are you going to eat it with?"
Me, "Umm...a spoon?"
Duh, like that is even a question.
love the frilly girly look on you and shye '''love the outfit you have on in this pic
ReplyDeleteI am officially offended by your girly girl comments since I was basically wearing that exact same outfit on Sunday.
ReplyDeleteOh I saw that new gorgeous Ruche photo spread too and I want everything in it! This is a good interpretation of that! Love all the girliness here :)

I love that outfit. Very girl and pretty.
