Here's the latest update. I've decided to cross a few things off that I know just aren't going to happen.
1. Blog tutoring with Karen - We've actually made plans to do this once or twice but have yet to follow through.
2. Gain 20lbs and then lose 50lbs.
So, when I made my goals I had 20 weeks of pregnancy left so I figured that I had about 20lbs left to gain. Luckily, I only gained 10 more pounds for a total of 40lbs. And I've lost 34lbs so far. Just 6 more to go!
3. Make and send out Christmas cards
Have the stuff, just need to do it.
4. Buy a new piece of furniture (baby furniture doesn't count)
DONE!
5. Go rock climbing
All my friends went without me while I was pregnant. :(
6. Workout 3x per week
For the most part, I've done pretty good. I worked out until I was about 37 weeks and then started back up again at 6 weeks post-partum.
7.
Not gonna happen. I'll shoot for about once a week.
8. Print out blog posts and save in a binder as a journal
Still plan on doing this at the end of the year.
9.
This is just too big of a project and the funds are non-existent.
10.
The whole point was to expand my repertoire and I did just that. But trying to keep up with this one is way too hard.
11. Make and wear a new skirt
I've finally found a pattern that is easy enough for me. I just need to go buy the fabric.
12. Read Book of Mormon cover to cover again
Currently in Alma.
13. Have family photos taken this fall
I'm going to count this one done because we got our pictures taken in June.

16. Host a movie night

18. Go ziplining
Of all my goals this was the one I was most excited to do. Gonna try and make it happen.
19.
It just ain't happening.
20. Scan all of grandmother's genealogy documents
Gotta give Brian props for this one, he did all the work.
21. Scan all of dad's pictures
Ugh. We'll see.
22. Run a 5k

Well done! And I don't know if I mentioned it before, but we have 100 years of Solitude if you want to borrow it.
ReplyDeleteI'm really impressed Shawna! And don't worry about Moby Dick. I've heard there are English teachers that teach that book without having read it all the way through. I think of it like the Old Testament. Skipping is OK.
ReplyDeleteAnd we've regretted that rock climbing trip ever since... Well, some of us have.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing how well that turned out, I bet you'd just LOVE to go zip lining with me!
